Oh, my favorite time of the year!  Love is in the air!

Why wouldn't it be when love is your passion and I have literally watched thousands of my friends, clients and even family find their soul mates since I was a child.

Life is about love, but most importantly, if you don't love yourself first, you can't expect to love anyone else.  So if you don't have a date this Valentine's Day, be sure to treat yourself!

If you do have a significant other, I am giving you this heads-up, you have just under 10 days to get ready, find that special gift (and it doesn't have to expensive) as a matter of fact, a gift of presence is just as special.... make dinner, candlelight, and make it special.  As long as you make it about the other person.... give them your time.  It is priceless....

Happy New Year 2012

Many have been struggling through a very rough 2011, whether it was with love or with finances, but 2012 promises to be a better year.

I wish all my friends, family and those I don't know know an amazing New Year filled with love and laughter.

Remember, it is those that have done you wrong that are hurting, you can move forward knowing you are the bigger person.  As much as you are hurt from a void in your life, there is a reason for everything that happens and sometimes the truth is more painful than we want to see.

So in 2012 face the world with a fresh set of eyes - make it bright, make it light and fill it with love for one another.  Remember, life it too short to hold grudges - and they only hurt you - not anyone else.

Merry Christmas With Love from Jill Dahne

For many people, this is a season of celebrations.  However, the holidays are often a difficult time for those of us who are bereaved and coping with loss.  Many bereaved and injured people face this season with apprehension often in fear of their emotional reactions to what are supposed to be happy, memorable events.

It is important to remember during this time, not to drink and drive.   As I was just made aware of a good friend that lost a friend on Christmas Eve to a drunk driver, I want people to remember, please don't drink and drive.  It seems like an old cliche, however we can never hear it enough.

Also know, buzzed driving kills the same as drunk driving!  It is no different than distracted driving.  Today a family in Weston is grieving the loss of a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a cousin and a resident that gave so much so everyone she came in contact with.  Whether it was via social media (Facebook) or in person, she wore her heart and her generosity with her at all times.  Our hearts, prayers and thoughts are with her family.

Within a few seconds her life was lost to a drunk driver.  This was only a short time after she posted a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all her friends on Facebook.....

Just because I love you.... please, think twice before you pick up those keys after having even a glass of wine.... Merry Christmas.... - Jill Dahne....

Her next prediction is that this engagement will be followed by a reality show.....  By December 1st, this couple was engaged and now we will wait to hear if there is a show in progress.

What will 2012 bring?  Here is a teaser.... Kourtney Kardashian will be getting married in early 2012 (looking like February) - let's hope it lasts longer than 72 days!
