The traditional Dream Catcher was intended to protect the sleeping individual from negative dreams, while letting positive dreams through. The positive dreams would slip through the hole in the center of the Dream Catcher, and glide down the feathers to the sleeping person below. The negative dreams would get caught up in the web, and expire when the first rays of the Sun struck them.

Some Native Americans of North America held the Hoop in the highest esteem, because it symbolized strength and unity. Finding my Feathers was the most important step in this whole process. To me they are one of the most important ingredients! So thru much searching I happened to find some very beautiful ladies with the most beautiful feathers I have ever seen. I never thought in my life that I would have such an appreciation for them. They are really a thing of Beauty. So I Thank you my Beautiful Friends for helping the Dream to come alive for without you I really feel my Dream Catchers would not have been what I had wanted to create.

It's always nice when what you have envisioned in your mind comes to life ~ I fall in love with each and every Dream Catcher I make. Yes some more than others ~ but yes I love them all and I hope you do to!
